A wedding at finca Son Baulo near Pina, Mallorca

Son Baulo Wedding

We have just finished our edit for a wedding at the Son Baulo. It is a centre for seminars and events but also it is occasionally used for weddings.

I liked this wedding very much because it was rather unusual. This wedding was closer to a cabaret than a traditional wedding. The venue is a remote finca en route to Manacor from Palma, near Pina. The finca has a reputation for music and comedy nights in addition to other entertainment. It is well worth a visit when holidaying in Mallorca. Occasionally they will accommodate weddings but they do not have a reputation for this. This makes the venue rather attractive to some couples.

We were invited to eat with the guests and unusually at the top table. The food is exceptional. The environment is rustic. The gardens a little wild. We loved the feel of this wedding. There was no polish to it and it worked wonderfully. The wedding breakfast was outside in the garden and the evening entertainment was held in the Mallorcan finca with typical features. A room designed for live music and which hosted the evening party. The place and the people who work, here did a splendid job.
