Photographs of a trip around Menorca on the Cami de Cavalls

At the end of last year we cycled the Cami de Cavalls which is the old track of the horses. We completed the whole route but you can quite easily pick off certain sections of the route by driving to specific points. Maps and guide books can be bought from tourist information offices in Mahon and Cuitadella.

The Cami de Cavalls is the track which hugs the coastline of Menorca and it is spectacular. We hired bicycles and camped with hammocks, something which is not encouraged. However we were extremely respectful of the environment and did not light fires which is now illegal and punishable by hefty fines if the police find you.
