Es Cubells
This small little settlement can be found on the south west side of Ibiza and has a few white washed houses and bars scattered around. The church is on the coast, perched on the cliffs which overlook the sea. You can find the church by searching for Esglesia Snr. del Carmen. It’s a quiet place which is unlike many places on Ibiza. If you want ot escape the crowds and have a private ceremony with you and your nearest and dearest, then drive here to soak up the solitude.
Photographers can take any group photographs at the back of the church overlooking the sea, if the light is kind. It’s overlooking the south coast so it can get the full exposure to the sun. The inside of the church though couldn’t be better. Whitewashed, light and very uplifting. A great little spot to say your vows to one another.
After the formalities we headed for an ultra modern villa just five minutes drive away. This was even better than the church to photograph. Every inch of this place had been thought about in it’s design and was looking the part for the reception. Outside caterers were brought in to serve food to guests on the front lawn, again, overlooking the sea.
