Cova d’en Xoroi

We’ve just completed the editing for our first event of the season on Menorca which was a 30th birthday celebration in Cala en Porter. ‘The Caves’ or Cova d’en Xoroi are a network of caves which perch high on the cliffs in the resort of Cala en Porter on the south coast of Menorca. This is one photograph we captured yesterday. The moon was full and the atmosphere was electric. You can get some idea of the majesty of this place from the photograph, but to really live it, you have to head there and head there at sunset.

Situated on the south coast, the sun sets over to your right on the many tiered balconies which perch thirty or so metres above the sea. There are VIP areas as you head down the many steps from the car park at the top of the cliff. As you descend, the club appears much farther down and the reality of this world class disco-tech and it’s location becomes very apparent.
