Marsden Wedding
Thankfully the weather was kind to us in Huddersfield on this May day. We photographed a wedding which was remarkably tasteful. The bride is a Savile Row tailor and many of the garments were made by her own creative hand from cloth bought from Liberty’s. The documentation of the wedding, still life and portraits will go beyond our wedding marketing. It was hosted in what could be considered a traditional English hotel. The building was Georgian and the rooms quite grand for a former family home. Every room individually decorated. Porcelain cups, saucers and teapots adorned every shelf in the living room and kitchen.
This was no grand fanfare of a wedding. Rather quaint with attention to every detail. And of course with every detail, a sign of quality. Beautiful still life photographs of the most exquisite items. It was beautiful from start to finish. The ceremony was held in the front dining room. A small gathering of the nearest and dearest. The wedding reception held outside in a marquee with an extensive wedding guest list.
This truly was a photographer’s dream, a story with every turn of the head and an absolute pleasure to be part of.
