Photographic Style
In addition to photographing weddings, we work hard for commissions of differing kinds such as birthdays and anniversaries. The preparation is key to this work and we visit the venues before the day so we know the locations which is being used. Most celebrations are photographed in a reportage way without people ever noticing we are there, while others, we structure the photograph and use our knowledge with fashion shoots to manipulate the environment and light to photograph guests with the minimum of fuss.
Biniarroca
Biniarroca is located on the outskirts of Sant Lluis on the east side of Menorca. It is a charming rural hotel which has a unique charm and calmness. It appeals to those who wish to get away from it all. However, it does occasionally allow smaller wedding and birthday parties so it is well worth visiting if you’re in the area.
It has a very rustic feel as it is in the countryside. Exposed beams, individually decorated rooms and a garden and pool area where you could easily relax for hours.
Although this celebration was small, it had all the right elements to make it a memorable day. One of the highlights was the ‘Gypsy Queens’, a band who were flown in to perform some of their best tracks…covers from many artists, but done extraordinarily well.
The guests had exclusivity of the hotel on this occasion but that, I understand, is a rarity.
