Son Berga
This mallorca wedding was held at the venue of Son Berga near Alaro. This is a converted farmhouse which has a main house with outlying buildings, cobbled courtyards and a view which will take your breath away.
The wedding venue has enclosed courtyards where the wedding party can enjoy an evening drink before sitting down for the wedding breakfast. If the weather is against you then Son Berga has a beautifully restored room with exposed beams and a cosy set up if the rain is lashing it down outside. Very doubtful on Mallorca but it’s always good to have a plan B
The spectacular backdrop for the photographs make this wedding venue one of the favourites to capture during the summer wedding season. The garden area at the back of the building has stone steps where photographers can tier their family portraits.
You have access to all the outside areas with mature gardens which is a great place to capture some more structured photographs with family and friends.
What realy becomes apparent as soon as you leave the main road, is how remote this wedding venue is. After the ceremony and as the daylight disappears, you would think you were the only people on the island. It’s secluded and peaceful. The stars are breathtaking if there is a moonless sky.
Son Berga should definitely be on your list if you are planning a rural wedding. You will not be disappointed.
