Son Marroig Wedding
For 2022 weddings and going forward, we have limited our bookings to twenty. Having photographed many weddings over the years we have set our amount for the first time last year. We wanted to take control of the whole process, we decided to limit the number to strictly twenty commissions over the busy summer period. If we could take the majority of the commissions at this venue, we would be very happy indeed.
Although the island of Mallorca has many beautiful wedding venues on the island, none can compete with Son Marroig when it comes to the setting. You are surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea on one side and the dramatic Tramuntana Mountains on the other. When we were commissioned last year to head back there, we accepted without hesitation.
The bridal preparations were at the Innside Palma Bosque which is a modern architectural build near the centre of Palma de Mallorca. A twenty minute drive through the mountains and onto Son Marroig, to be intoduced to the wedding party and the breathtaking views overlooking the sea to the north of the stately home. What is really special about this venue is that the sun sets directly into the sea from the terrace area where the wedding parties usually have their wedding breakfast.
After the sunset then the house is well equipped to allow you and your guests to party well into the early hours of the following morning. You will not disturb anyone and in fact, this particular wedding finished at three in thje morning and we were there to the very end to capture everything of the evening.
