Wedding Flowers
The wedding flowers and bouquets are a vital part of the feel for the wedding, venue and the bride on her wedding day. In addition to being pleasing on the eye for your wedding guests, they serve your wedding photographer well. The wedding breakfast tables and bouquets are always beautiful things which are sculptural and make for striking photographs.
We are always complimented by the commissioners on small details at their wedding. They can very often be overlooked by the couple on the day and so photographs of details are always welcomed in the final delivered portfolio. Wedding photography is multi disciplinary, combining still life, portraiture and reportage under wedding photography. Graduating from university, London was my first destination to work for still life photographers in the area of food and advertising. Understanding the meticulous attention to detail in still life photography is a skill in itself.
From assisting still life photographers to being commissioned from fashion retailers and wholesalers. Skill sets learned from these areas I brought to my wedding photography shoots. Still life studios and my work in fashion, I believe, strengthens my wedding photography. Good wedding photography is as much about the detail and strong posed portraits, as it is about capturing those unique moments in a reportage style from the special day.
The artistry from suppliers involved, from the flowers through to the clothes design of the dresses, to the table decorations and order of service. Every detail should be captured. In an eight hour photography shoot, it will involve many disciplines.
Over the wedding season on Mallorca, Ibiza and Menorca, the individuality shines through in each wedding. The time passes all too quickly and it is unfortunate the day cannot last longer. Enjoy and savour every moment, as the time will pass quickly. After the day of course, the photography is what will remain. It will endure and you will relive it for many years, with many generations.
