Son Brull Monastery
Son Brull is a converted eighteenth century Jesuit monastery, now a five star hotel and spa. Today we had a reccie of this beautiful hotel nestled under the undulating hills that surround Pollenca. Tomorrow we photograph a small and intimate wedding here with ten guests and we cannot wait.
With it’s five star luxury accommodation and leisure facilities, this converted monastery is one incredible location to host your wedding day. In addition to it’s rooms and spa, the monastery has grounds which produce a variety of vegetables and grape which is served in the 3/65 restaurant. It has a reputation for being one of the best on the island and I’m certain it is well deserved.
To find it, it is near the town of Pollenca, located on the left as you drive toward the motorway and Palma. Notice the vines which produce the wine from the vineyard and you’ll see the converted monastery. Many of the ingredients which serve the restaurant are also grown on the land which surround Son Brull. Fresh and chemical free, what’s not to like about the food which you’ll consume here.
We traveled to Son Brull to meet our customers on the day before the wedding. During our couple of hours here we photographed the hotel which now appear on their Home page. Beside the beautiful Mallorca countryside beyond your window, the bedrooms and public spaces of the hotel are spacious and well considered. This all adds to the most wonderful experience for any photographer capturing weddings here.
